From the beginning, God has revealed His plans through time and prophecy. One of the greatest revelations in all of Scripture is found in the book of Daniel, chapter nine — the prophecy of the seventy weeks. Daniel, in prayer and fasting, sought understanding for his people’s captivity, and God responded by revealing the exact timeline that would lead to the coming of the Messiah, His death, and the ultimate restoration of all things.
